Congress of Future Science and Technology Leaders Reviews
An Unexpected Nomination
She admits that she did not know anything about the Academy and the Congress before her nomination. So the news left her “shocked” because she “didn’t expect it to happen at all.”
The Congress nomination is an honor for Aniya, as she feels that anybody could have taken her spot. But she was the one chosen to be a part of this significant event.

Her interest in science is Aniya’s common ground with her fellow SciTechLeaders. She is most curious about biology, and her involvement with the Academy and the Congress will allow her to deepen her knowledge and appreciation of it.
Here, she will find inspiration and support to pursue her interest in science. The Academy will also help Aniya learn more about this particular field and the opportunities it holds for her. Best of all, she will interact and work alongside like-minded people who share her passion.
Looking Forward to The National Academy of Future Scientists and Technologists Congress
Each year, the Congress gathers honor students who have potential in STEM fields. These students exhibit leadership qualities and aim to contribute in these fields.
Nobel Prize winner and Academy Science Director Dr. John C. Mather signed the letter of nomination for Aniya to attend the Congress. She is the representative of Wicomico County Public Schools to this gathering.
Fellow delegates will join Aniya at the Congress. Here, they will have a chance to listen to talks from award-winning industry leaders, inspirational speakers, and mentors who will motivate them. The delegates will also interact with each other and the speakers through various STEM-related activities.
Not knowing what to expect from the Congress is what excites Aniya. She said that she is not setting any expectations because she “likes the surprise.”
The Congress is certainly a cause for excitement. It is a huge gathering of bright minds driven by the passion to achieve common goals. And here, Aniya will feel very much at home.
Plans for The Future
Since she learned about the Congress, Aniya has been looking forward to the impact the event will have on her. She feels that she will “come out of the program a different person” and that she will have a new perspective on life.
As for her future, Aniya plans to get a biochemistry degree. And though it is not a traditional career path, she also plans to enlist in the military afterward.
Aniya is indeed all set to achieve her goals. With the proper knowledge, skills, and motivation, there is no doubt that she will reach her dreams.
